    Progress on my 99 Z28 project (56K grab a Snickers)

    I bought this 99 Z28 back in late May, and here are the before and current pics of it so far....

    Thanks, I love it too....as soon as I can get a buddy of mine that paints free to do it, the taillight panel is gonna be painted semi-gloss black too, like the "Berger panels" or the old 1st Gen big-block cars. In fact, I might have the "CAMARO" letters filled in on it so I can put my rear Z28 emblem smack-dab in the middle of that panel.

    How much would a paint job like you got there run a fella? I reckon they'd repaint the whole car so it would all match even though it was just a front quarter panel.

    Actually the paint on the bumper and fender match very well. Besides, I got it done cheap enough to make guys jealous.

    remove your side molding. you dont have it on your front drivers side quarter panel so just take off whats left. trust me, you will be happy you took it off...

    LOL...already done. I took those pics right after I got it put back together, so the missing side molding on the fender kinda sticks out.

    Looks good and I think the hockey stripe looks good. "IF" I owned the car. I'd lower it next and lose the front bracket if it's legal in your state. Even if it wasn't I would still probably lose it. Nice so far!

    I'd LOVE to lose the front license plate if I could find a reasonably priced SLP Bowtie grille insert.

    Goodluck, i think my oem looks ok now that you can make out the "camaro" lettering.

    looks great!! i think that hockey stick has to grow on you.... it's different i like it.. just like allbaugh said, lower it next and some bigger wheels, cant wait to do that to mine
