ill list the modifications i can remember. ill need to find the list that the cars builder gave me for all the mods. my camaro was built by a member from this forum named kyle luke, i bought it 3 years ago from him on e-bay. it has 46,995 miles on it, i only put 700 or so on it since i bought it. this car is FAST, so much so, that i will not drive it unless it is sunny and dry outside. it runs the quarter mile in 10.5 seconds according to the the guy that built it, the dyno tuning paperwork shows 595 horsepower at the tires. list of the mods i can remember: vortec supercharger with aftercooler pushing 9lbs of boost with 38lbs injectors* cartek stage2 heads and cam* weiand/linginfelter intake manifold* grott long tube heders dumping into 4" pipe* manual 6-speed transmission with double kevlar clutch* short throw shift* adjustable panhard bar* moser 12 bolt rear end* 4 11 gears* moster tack and boost gauge mounted on driver pillar*drilled and slotted rotors and earls stainless steel brake lines* thats all that i can remember without the list in front of me. all the suspension is custom and has lowering springs. it was informed by the builder that 20,000 dollars was spent on the mod. i just never got into this camaro the way i was into my 2002 SS. ill add more pics of the suspension and more about the mods when i get time, if kyle luke is still a member here, please add more to the list of mods since you built it.

had the in dash speedometer pegged in 4 gear with 2 gears to go, was on interstate 640 at 2 in the morning so it was safe to get an idea of what kinda speed it has. im only guessing because ive never took it to its limits but i believe its top speed is 180 to 190 mph. the take off torque if you go for a quick take off is enough to almost bring the front tires off the ground.

this color on my z28 is rare, a camaro book my friend has gave the production numbers and it stated they were only 98 metallic purple ones made in 1998

second link shows 95 z28's in purple...about 430 units total purple in color. not sure but you may be interested in those links there.

look down lower at the page, #10 88U B. Purple - 433 - 0.9% is the total # purple maros for 1998

1998 Camaro Z28 Coupe: 88U B. Purple - 95...............both of you are right
