    Paging Luos.....

I thought you could appreciate this shot. I tried not to work on it this year but broke down this week and put her on stands and tore the exhaust off to have a bung welded in and I went ahead and painted the exhaust while I was at it. I also had to flip my rotors around because my dumb ass put the fronts on backwards. You might also notice the GTO's exhaust laying there in the floor also. I don't have a muffler on either of my cars right now.

nothing special really but thanks. I had a bung welded on and always paint welds anyhow. After I painted the weld I decided just to keep going so I took it all out and hit it with a brush wheel on the bend grinder and what I couldn't get to with the wheel I used a paint stripper attachment on the drill and got the rest. Couple coats of hi-temp black and she's good to go. Now I just gotta lay on the ground and put everything back together and change the oil and she'll be ready for the road. It really didn't look bad to begin with. Limited amount of rain and no salt in the last 8 or 9 years helps. I think it's been in the rain twice in the last 5 or 6 years. The guy that welded the bung didn't believe me when I told him the pipe was almost 10 years old.

I'm now debating pulling the rear tires and painting those wheel wells. In the 10 years I've had the car I've never got those things clean.

I did that to mine last year. Well worth doing I think I picked up Permatex paint at Oreilleys to do mine.

Mine should be running again in 3-4 weeks. Hoping closer to 3.

A quick fix is to just power wash them good then shoot them down with almost any type tire protectant or Adams makes an undercarriage spray as does Chemical Guys, both make your wheel wheels look good and is a lil easier than pulling all that down but of course washes off after a few weeks.
    YMMV.
