Red- 2006 C6 Corvette (Z51)
Newbie here, saying "hello"
Hi all,
It's great finding a site like this. I just recently sold my soul for a 2006 C6. It's a blast. Still only 800 miles on the odometer. However, I have a quick question. I'm still kind of babying it right now, even though I'm past the 500 mile break in point. I've still got on it a few times and I've found something that's irking me. When I'm flooring it and going up through the gears, going from 2nd to 3rd doesn't seem to work right. I push it up towards third and it seems like the shifter is hitting a wall or something for a couple seconds. After 2 seconds, I can shift into 3rd no problem. Is it just because I'm a crappy driver or has anyone else every experienced this?
Once again, great to see you all!Attachment 4428

haha I laughed at the sold my soul comment. Anyways. I'm not quite sure why it would be doing that. It doesn't seem right to me. It's under warranty. If your drivetrains falls out of the bottom of your car and does a tap dance into the sunset GM will replace it for free! so don't worry.
Beautiful beautiful beautiful car. I would give my left testicle and first born child for a C6
