man i gotta say i have never like an ultra z hood... NEVER, but with the way youve done the stripes it looks good... is it an original hugger? for i was thinking they were a 99 only car (could easily be wrong)

Hugger Orange- 98 Camaro
#1 The car isn't an origianl hugger. It started life as a Louisiana State Police car and was painted. The paint is thorough, doorjambs, gas lid, everything... just like factory.
#2 I'm proud of the family bus, the lady that drives it bought me the Z
#3 Times... it's in the shop as we speak having 3000 stall and 3:73 gears. It's got headers, cat eliminator, flowmaster, Slp MAFS, ram-air. It went 8.50's in the 1/8th w/ 2.1 60 ft. That was before the convo-pro's, Hoosiers, TCI stall, and gears. Hopefully she'll get into the 7.90-8.00 range w/ a good program. I don't know what that would be in the 1/4 mile.
Mods coming... 6 pt cage, sub-frame connectors, 125 shot, lighten front-end, LS6 intake, cam pkg, and new interior w/ cage.
We'll se how it works out. I plan on having it fast and show ready in about 4 months

Hugger Orange/W stripes- 1999 Z28 M6
I like the hood and black stripe. Nice to stray from the norm a little. Here is my recently acquired '99 Z M6.
I have to get rid of those pipes sticking out so far!!! They sound good, but they look terrible. I'm opting for the two split style (each side) with slightly flattened oval shapes.
Take care,

Hugger Orange- 98 Camaro
Took it to the track this weekend w/ the 3000 stall and 3:73 gears.
Best run was 8.29 @ 81 mph w/ 1.8 60ft. The new Hoosiers were slipping a little but nothing that a little air adjustment won't fix. I had the Hypertech program set up where the car was shifting @ 6000-1st to 2nd, 5800-2nd to 3rd. I'm gonna keep playing with the program and try to get the shifts @ 6100 +/- in all gears.
Somebody tell me what these times translate into if I was running a 1/4 mile,
and also, what difference would a 100 shot of n2o make?

Nice car bro. But you should have painted the roof black.

100 shot would make a HUGE diff, probably add another 10mph on the 1/8?
