I do plan on keeping it, but your whole "non-existant resale" theory is ridiculous. No offense, but I can sell this car pretty much IF I wanted to. Actually I was just asked to sell it, but turned it down.

^^^That's what I was thinking. If it were impossible to sell with a rebuilt title, then you would never have bought it. There are various ways a car can be rebuilt, it doesn't mean the whole car was crushed or that 2 cars were put together to make 1. It could be that the insurance company would've had to pay out too much for some body work.

The rebuilt title is why you got a good deal on it. It's not rediculous, it's a fact. The market for rebuilt title cars is exponentially smaller than for a similar car with a clean title. The value of a rebuilt title car is also much smaller. The depreciation for a given amount of time for a rebuilt car is also more.

All true. It won't have the resale value of a non rebuilt title, but for someone who is not looking to keep a car for its' value down the road, it's a fair deal.

I wouldn't shy away from a car just because it has a rebuilt title, I would want to know why it has one and then evaluate whether or not to buy. And I know I would not pay full price like a non-rebuilt would.

i hate cobras with a passion.

but i have to respect those 03-04's nasty little boogers. one of the best deals of the century when new(price wise)

good find on the price! who cares if its a rebuilt title if its in that kinda shape!
good luck in basic, and get home to her soon! looks like she needs a good owner to take care of her.

who cares if it has a rebuilt title it all comes down to what you paid which is very reasonable. Nice car ! I almost bought one of these but decided on a C5 Z and so far Im happy.

Thats why he got it cheap. He got in it for what its worth so when he sells it for what its worth its not like he is losing anymore than had he bought a clean titled car. Had he paid full price for then thats a different story.

Nice Terminator, I have the same color and it looks good in the light. Your car should put out around 440-460whp the way it sits. I made 459.48 with a 2.8 pulley, FIPK cold air, Magnaflow CB, and tune.

"terminator" is the designer's designation for the svt 03-04 mustang cobras. The designers wanted to terminate any camaro or trans am oem that would race it..even tho it was specifically geared towards outperforming the 4th gen f bodys
