My car got painted with a PPG paint. Its sick i just wish the previous owner would have had it done right, it looks good now, but if it was done right, it would have been sick. I like that color a lot, good choice!

He didnt paint it. It looks cheap to me. The car came red from the factory . I swear he got it done at Maaco cus there is only 1 coat of paint. Its chipping and you can see through it to the red underneath. He said he paid like 4 to 5 thousand for it which if he did he was ripped off. He didnt have the door jambs painted, under the ttops, or under the spoiler. I mean it looks great just looking at it or even up close. But its so easy to tell he got a half ass job. Heres a picture. Look at the spoiler.

I love the SOM but i hate being able to see the red come through in certain lighting. It bugs the living hell out of me, so much so that im about ready to have it sanded down and back to red. I most likely wont have it sanded down cus it really does catch peoples eye and everyone loves it, im just a perfectionist when it comes to this car.

The other part that bugs me is that it doesnt have that "liquid" look that you get from the factory. Here, look right above the drivers side wheel right where the front qtr panel meets the the bumper, see the red coming through?

ehh i kinda see it..but i guess you would have to live with it in order to notice it.....by not being liquidish do you mean its kinda on the flatish side..not so glossy?

Yeah its not as glossy as i would like it to be. My old mustang had the liquid look to it. I know the 2 colors are different but this is what i mean when i say "liquid"

Its hard to tell in the pictures but in person the T/As paint looks almost grainy, but the mustang was just smooth all the way through. With more coats of paint and clear coat it would look amazing.
