Just waxed my car! (Huge pictures, sorry)

Haha yeah i actually agree with you guys too. I dont like the side skirts either. im getting the car painted in a few spots once i get the new bumper on so the skirts will come off then. Thanks for the compliments though!

I completely overlooked those till you said something. It's not nearly as bad as a full on body kit and giant spoiler, but yes, he may want to consider removing them.

Its an aftermarket paintjob. Thats why i dont have the t tops off for the pictures. I bought the car this way and he didnt have the door jams, underneath the tops or underneath the spoiler painted. All those spots are still red(the color it came from the factory). Look closely under the spoiler. The work is getting done over winter once i store it. Its going to become a whole new beast. Ill post pics of the progress. And i cant fix bumper now cus my court date is nov. 14 to get the money from the guy who hit me, he doesnt have insurance..

The skirts are coming off though. I decided that before i even bought the car. It only has 39k on it, so i couldnt pass it up!

Honestly im really thinking about it. Thats what ive been wanting to do. But my girlfriends dad said he would just leave it that color since its so expensive and he would be doing the painting for $600(such a great deal haha) And everyone who sees it loves the color but im not so sure about it.Plus its my car so i really think im gonna go back to red, even though there is a red one on the next street from my house haha

I really like how those cars look in red. Plus- by the time you take the skirts off paint the rear bumper- and the front around the license plate you might as well.

Yeah i know, ive thought about all that. Im stumped though. I also like hacing a Trans Am in a color no one else does. Plus since im getting the work done dirt cheap by a great painter, i might as well just have him clean the paint up real nice and add more coats to give it a liquid look. The cars gonna be parked for 5 months so he'll have so much time. Plus id like to be there for it all and learn about the process. Red is so sexy though..
