Just got the T/A back on the road.
Hey guys. I finally finished up with the wheels and tires and got the car legal yesterday. I removed the ZR1 emblems from the center caps, put on the birds and added the lettering to the calipers. I'm pretty happy with the way it looks for now except for the Pontiac on the rear bumper. The jackass that had the car before me decided it would be cool to color in the letters with some black touch-up paint. I have some inserts on the way though that will cover all that up, so no problem there. I'm going back and forth over whether I want to put the bird and logo back on the center section of the taillights, or just leave it black. I think it looks good both ways. Let me know what you think.
Here is one more of the Radar. I really like it because it doesn't mount in the window. The sensor mounts in the front of the car, so you can put the receiver wherever. It seemed to fit pretty snug in the center pocket.

Yeah, about that. I bought the car back when my wife's parents owned a dealership. Long story short, her father lost his battle with cancer last March. I asked her what she thought about taking off the sticker and she isn't ready yet. There is some sentimantal value to it, or it would have been removed. We'll find something a little better eventually.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
that's a shame. I bet i can help you out...not trying to take advantage, but I make emblems and we could "classy-it up a bit" with a nice piece of polished-aluminum stamped acrylic. Check out some of our work here: http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79026
note: we also make the pontiac lettering inserts as opposed to vinyl:
