Hi. Another new guy. :)
Hi everyone.
I'm new to this forum, so, sticking to new-guy-protocol I'm posting some pics, and a Hello in my Drunken stooper, at 12:16am!
Hello!
The Brains.
The Muscle.
The ...Headlight?
...Stop-Lamps are fun!
The End.
Tomorrow we'll be doing the spoiler delete. I'll post some images of that when I can. Sometime tomorrow night, I guess.
I'm also saving for a super charger kit, so I'll keep those of you interested up-to-date on that as well.

Thanks.
So far I've splurged on a cam and exhaust.
HPE makes a gnarly cam for the LS1. That was Mod: 1.
Mod: 2 was a cat-back delete and pipes and two 9" cans by Spin Tech. I decided to make it with 2 turn-downs, mid-car, instead of tail-pipes. Sounds better in my opinion. Functionality is just as good, also. ...Despite the permanent check engine light.. Sounds good.
Kenny Bell makes an awesome S.C. Kit for the LS1, also.
As soon as I can afford it, we'll be adding that as well.
I'll be sure to keep the forum updated with any and all progress.
It'll be fun!Last edited by ne0fiend; 07-10-2008 at 08:36 PM.

Well, the delete went well. No major problems.
For any of you looking to do this, though - You should know:
1) The spoiler's brake light wire is hard-wired. There is no coupler/plug under, around or in the trunk/Rear seating area. You'll need to cut.
2) The spoiler is only held on with four (4) little nuts and bolts. No major preping required.
And 3) It looks bad ass without that ricey spoiler
Only 2 pics for now, my camera is going dead/dying.
Hope you like! (those of you following)
Yeah buddy, i'll see what I can do about the video. Pictures - no sweat. Just need some more batteries.
I'll let you know when I get a sound clip/video for ya.

All right, King Z28.
I'm still working on getting some way to record the lope.
But here are some rudimentary photos of the system and techniques I used to make the cans fit.
We should note that for the '04 5.7 M6, there is no real room to play with underneath.
The cans are as follows:
9 (nine) inch (long) X 6 (six) inch (wide) Off-set-in, center-out Spin Tech 4's.
A.K.A. 9" Offset-Center Can(s).
Pipes are as follows:
3 (three) inch aluminum cold-press, cold-bend generic pipe. 4 (four) pipes total.
2 for the resenator replacements. 2 for the turn downs.
-
PS: I read somewhere that someone heard that in-car noise is greater, without the resenators... I can neither comfirm, or disprove. The sound, to me, is indifferent inside.
Now, granted the in-car sound is alittle louder simply because of the location of the turn downs.
But I am old-school, and enjoy mid-car down pipes. This style is optional.
-
The routed pipes are simpley the stock pipes pressed out to fit.
This was easier than running new pipe all around, it's hard to afford pipe like that for me, and getting time while at work to work on my own car is rare.
So, for me, quick is better. All in all, I am happy with the accomplished sound and flow.
We should also note that the cats have been cut and cleared.
C.E. Light? Yes.
D.I.L.L.I.G.A.F? No.
Anyway, KingZ! (and those of you surfing)
I hope you enjoy these, and I hope they inspire you!
You'll have to excuse the ugly dude in the picture - Mike wanted to be an internet star, so I promised I'd make him semi-famous.

Dunno, bud!
Can't afford a dyno session right now.
A liberal, realistic guess is from 390-410 RWHP.
I'll be using the DiabloSport Perdator Hand help unit to tune it this weekend.
We're having issues with the idle speed, so it's going slow.
Silver is having the same issue, also. So, I guess it's not uncommon.
Anyway!
390-410. We're still under construction. Money is tight!
Also, thank you for all the warm welcomes. Haven't met anyone I DON'T like yet. ...Or any cars I don't like either. I'm stoked to be a member here already.
By the way, we've got some pretty good trouble shooting talks going on in the GTO Diablo Sport thread, if any of you are thinking about getting it, having troubles with it, or know anyone with it. I bet you could make good use of that thread.
