Looks good. I see traction is a HUGE problem for ya. High 11's with 600hp? Should be knocking in the middle 10.5-10.8 easily with a decent set of tires.

    That's high 11's at 436rwhp. Read carefully.

    To the O.P., nice vette!

NOT to offend, but with so much time, effort, and needless to say dollars invested in your beautiful ride, why didn't you just opt for the Z06 in the first place?

because for about $7-8k more than i have invested in my car total, i could have a car that doesn't quite look as good, does not have a removable roof, does not have an electronic controlled suspension and would have about 200 or so less horsepower

Good to see you weren't offended. I simply meant as a STARTING point. Sure you wouldn't have the removable top. Nothing I can do about that, there's only so much that can be done in the way of absolute strength, but being named "Beefcake" I'm sure you already know that. As far as the horsepower is considered, if you STARTED with the 427, you'd have had roughly 70 more horses than you do now.
Not to mention the added strength of the internals of the 427. One of the strongest of the LS family.
On the suspension aspects, you've got me, I couldn't agree with you more.
As far as the asthetics are concerned, I think that the Z06/ZR1 wide body(s) are the most becoming of the C6, as do you, seeing as you adopted the rear end onto your car.
While grafting a most stunning and I assume functional hood onto your car as well.
I applaud your efforts and personal taste, well done my friend.
