Should be fine doing the spring/shock install now, makes no difference unless you plan on dropping the kmember for the motor work. I suggest new upper strut mounts and strut insulators for the install if you don't already have them. The stock ones are probably worn out. If you get new coil spring insulators for the front you can assemble the springs/shocks before you even jack the car up. No need to compress the old springs and disassemble, just the new ones.

As yall can tell, I have not done anything as of yet. All plans are still in place to do all of these things. I just had a few hurdles to jump first. Those of you that know my divorce situation, that is the hurdle I am talking about. Beginning of the year, I will be getting custody of my sons so, spending money on other things have taken the back seat.

I only drive my car every other weekend now but driving it this weekend has made me want to get after it again. I'm gonna give it a good detail next weekend...

Whats up everyone?? After all settled down and I didnt have to really get rid on my Camaro (sold it to my Dad....for now), I now have that itch again. No way I can afford the whole shebang now or anytime soon, however, I wanna do something. I'm going to go with the 92mm FAST setup very soon. The cam and heads will come later and very possibly a year later if not more. With that said, get it tuned after installing the intake, right??

I would wait and do it as a whole package. FAST 90 will require tuning to get full benefit. You can stay with a LS6 and not need a tune. Cam and heads will also require a tune, so waiting and doing it all at once is better on the wallet. The hard part is waiting...

Why a FAST 90? A 102 would be better and a few dollars more unless you got the 90 at a bargain price.

Havent really thought into the 102 as much I guess. Doing all of the install could take years to finish. I think I may do a cam/tune now and the rest when I can

Also FYI on the 102, you'll need new fuel rails & injectors. But you may new injectors anyways depending on the cam setup. Then there's the fuel pump upgrade too to be able to handle the fuel load.

Kenny your recent question might be better answer in the General Help section. More ppl will view it.

The LS7S is a stout cam for a LS1. Not quite sure if it can handle it. It looks to be designed for 4.0+" blocks like the LS3, 6.0 Liter blocks as well as the LS7.

Also it will lose all street manners IMHO. The 114+3 LSA will mild it out some for autos but a lower LSA is recommended for M6 cars.

I have the Tick Polluter Stg 3 239/244 .62x”/.59x” LSA111+2 and it's designed for 6 liter blocks as well as 4.030" (408 ci)

If you are looking for power and still have some streetablilty TS&P have MS3 & 4's. They both have good reps in providing power. My buddy has one in his LS1 with a built Turbo 350. Launches really good even though it hasn't been fully tuned yet.
