took some more pics. i had all the systems flushed in the car and did the muffler delete with GTO tips. Had some small scratches wet sanded and buffed and am having a full detail done tomorrow. thursday i am having a few dents popped out and this car should be in near perfect condition. I'm looking into powder coating the wheels gunmetal and that should be just about it.

I had this exact same car!!! Loved it other then all the alarms and warning that set off on the navi. screen get kind of annoying. But get the skip shift issue taken care of and you'll have a ball............fun toy for sure. Just if something breaks, try to fix it yourself. My temp. control unit went bad, and the Cadillac dealer wanted to charge me $900!!!!! I found one online for $30, and it was as simple as popping of the plastic surrounding and removing four screws. The dealerships are a HUGE ripoff so avoid at all costs. Cadillac is also known for making special tool required fasteners. Great car..............but be careful if the miles get too high, and you start to have issues. Good luck!!!!!

Nice ride! Your plate reminded me of a bumper sticker I saw years ago when I lived in Michigan.
It said "I'd rather Ball U than I U!" lol! I'm sure you've seen one.

Nice ride. I've always loved the real metal wire mesh grills on those cars.

I went to John Adams High School, always heard about (but never had a car worthy back in the day) OC dragway, glad to see they are still there. Is it a 1/4 mile track, or did they wus out and go 1/8?

Cool. I live about 6 miles from ORP, used to be IRP, where the US Nationals have been held since the early '60s. I will hear the thunder of the 8,000+ HP machines from that distance very soon! Glad to see OC dragway hasn't pussied out and went to a 1/8th track!

^^^I was wondering what those special tools were also. Unless he's talking about the special water pump tool for the 4.6s.

Nice car! My wife and I have decided to order a new CTS Coupe, but not a V because the differance in gas mileage is about 10 MPG on the highway, and it will be replacing my G35 Coupe as my dd. I also don't need two 500+ HP cars.
The reason I need to order it is because we're going to get the 6 speed manual, and none of the Caddie dealers here will be stocking any manuals in their allocations.

i left the bullet muffler on it so its not too loud. its got a nice growl so u can at least hear it now. makes the car a lot more fun to drive.

thanks man. thats cool. i drove an 08 CTS a few years ago and was impressed. for being a V6 the car definitely had some pep. i like that youre still getting the stick even with the V6. ive always wanted a g35 but now that the g37 has come out i want one of those but can't afford one yet so i went with the V
