Hey i have got a 2001 Trans am ws6 .. Im looking for a custom paint for it. Anyone have any ideals

how much you look to spend on a custom job?

i have around 2,000 to spend on the custom paint and im not in to falmes all that much mabey if i seen pics

no flames. do stripes on the hood, roof and spoiler. it would look 100x cleaner than flames would and you'd probably have some cash left over. IMO

id say do silver stripes or maybe even flat black. a member on here http://www.ls1.com/forums/member.php?u=39910 "BIG GUNS" has flat black graphics on his car. i think it looks sick. maybe he can send you some pics

how bought you just completely repaint your car..get rid of the orange peel..maybe do something in the line of house of kolor ..in my own opinion...our cars dont look good with strips and a bunch or stuff all over the place..go solid ..and get a killer paint job.

while true..what is the point of putting flames/stripes over subpair paint ? ...then he could just get a repaint ..with real detail and have a killer looking car.

you could also wet sand and buff the car to get rid of orange peel as well. the paint would look like glass and wouldn't break the bank. that also depends on how many times its been buffed before. burning through clearcoat is a big no-no

alright yeah ima keep it black proably and wet sand it.. I just have a friend with the same car and i want to get mine a little more cusumized .. for a sorda cheap price.. but the strips sound good.. ima look in to them.. I thougt about putting a JP body kit on it to make it look lower. but cant seem to find one for a reasonable price

heck yah i like that color .. is it a farly expensive paint? im not to in to cars at all.. im just 16 with this Trans am as a first car..

is there any reason you want paint before performance? personally if i had two g's to spend, i'd probably buy some new shoes for it or some go fast goodies. i think that they look great in black already

Its a builder the hood and fenders just have primor on then.. So i need paint and i figure that i should spray it to look good .

lowering springs will solve that..without murdering the beautiful lines that the car already has
