Whisper lid WHO HAS ONE???

So I'm looking for a whisper lid for my 01 and have had no luck at all. Does anyone know someone who is selling theirs? Seems like that's the only way I'm gonna fine one is used.

I've seen a few pop up on cv6 and fullthrottlev6 from time to time.... only other thing would be Ebay.

You'll most likely need to change the entire air box too. The 3800 lid, UI, and air box are offset. Whereas the lsx cars have a strait through design.

well I've already removed the baffler so I kinda already have a ghetto whisper lid lol. I replaced the baffler chamber with a 3.5 inch piece of PVC pipe and ported the TB while I was at it.

I gutted my lower box, and did a steel 4" smooth bellows, also removed the air deflector in the oval.. No MAF screen either.. I thought about porting the TB but this is the last year for this engine. I'm gonna pull the engine/trans and sell it as a package.. New engine and trans will prolly be in the GM DOHC v8 family.

Envious much. So who are you gonna pass the V6 guru torch to now? lol
