what to do
i have a 86 camaro that had a 2.8 and a 5 speed. i sold the engine and trans in order to swap to a sbc and a th350. i have the v8 motor mounts allready,and the block. can any one tell me what else i need. oh yeah i also have a th400 and i was told that it wouldnt work with the stock v6 driveshaft cause the tranny is a long tailshaft. any help is apreciated!

you'll need a V8 rad as the V6 has water outlets on the wrong sides. Other than that it will be straight forward. If you are running a carbed SBC you'll need to modify the ignition coil wiring to work with the in cap HEI if thats the route you are going. I did a SBC swap on an 86 camaro when I was in tradeschool and it wasnt a hard swap. PM me if you need help.
