V6 Mods
I have a 2000, v6 camaro with a 80 series flowmaster cat back system...and i already take down most other v6ers around me....but im looking to do more...i was wondering what you all are doing to your v6, thats reasonable in price...and if anyone has a cutout, or a slp cai, i wanna know if that lost them throttle response, or low end.

none of those mods should make u loose power, a small nitrous shot is always a good mod, headers and a Y pipe are good mods aswell

Juice(nitro) is the best bang for the buck, but think of juice as a Hott slut. You wanna hit it, but your scared what ittl do. if you dont know what your messing with then do alot of research 1st

don't get me wrong man...
my v6 had an slp lid, stall, higher gears, headwork, upped suspension, exhaust, headers, and a tune.
nitrous is nice if you plan on leaving it on the motor forever, because the juice is like crack, once you use it your motor will never be the same without it....
my v6 was pretty quick, lower mid 14s....
sad thing is the 3.8l v6 is not a motor built for performance, no matter what you do to a v6 you will never see the results that you would from a motor built for performance.
and i don't mean go buy an ls1... i had a v6, that people mistook for a formy.
I'm saying a v8 reacts better to mods than a v6...
EXAMPLE: if a mod adds a said 3hp to a v6, it adds 9hp to a v8
so don't rip on me for saying v6's aren't meant for speed, I had one and am looking for another one for a dd!!

two words... grand national.
they had 3800s and everyone knows their fast. not the exact same engine (not to mention their boosted) but their the same displacement.
intense racing sells good stuff for v6s. i just posted a vid of a car they built that runs 8s.
they sell modified heads and cams and other stuff.
if you have the money they are effin sweet.

ZZPerformance, Thrasher has a few things COME has a stroker kit there's another stroker kit out also both of which I think are from Australia, which apparently that little engine is pretty popular down under. Do a lil searching you'll find a few other companies

They aren't good for anything other than a boat anchor or a flower planter
