v6 bird in the 8s
this is for all the nay sayers that v6 cars cant be fast.
and i dont want to see a single person say "well it would have been faster if it was a v8"
this shows that a v6 can be bad ass, and when you get done with it you have a tone more pride than if you went out and bought a ls1. i think this car is a ton cooler than a bolt on ls1.

yeah if u have a fast v6 you have a lot more to be proud of, especially if it's your wrench time...
i know the potential of a 3.8 i was pulling lt1s in mine!

Spmebody said they were Abbots Heads. There is Intense parts on that car but probobly all of them are "prototype" parts that you can't currently or probobly ever be able to buy from them.

the only thing that matters to me is that car shows what the engines are capable of.

Tim's car is sweet. He ran it at our club event this fall and hit 9.20's. I wanted to look it over but I was busy racing and forgot to check out his set up. The pictures I saw were impressive.

Yes they offer packages but very seldom they actually sell anything that's on their race cars. IE the Bonneville had a Blowzilla blower on it. Something that's never been put into a mass production.
Thet're customer service is well known for being shitty so I will never do business with them again

Perhaps I got confused with another car, but thought I read he was using Abbott Stage 5 heads.
I don't know why people say the customer service sucks, he offered to help me select a turbo for the new motor in may car on another board. Seemed very friendly an helpful and wasn't even though I wasn't buying from him (talking about Tim himself).

People who know anything about 3.8s wont question their potential. A buddy of mine sprayed his V6 a ton, and it never had any problems. He did get his ass kicked by a bolt on LT1 though, HARD, especially up top.

Same goes for the 60 degree platform. The new GM 3.6 DOHC puts out 285hp in stock form in the new G6's and the 3900 put out 240hp.
The 3500 non-VVT (top end going on my motor) puts out 224hp.
The 90 degree v6's are being phased out, after being extended once already. Production was supposed to stop last year IIRC.

It would be fun to have my GTP set up in a Camaro, but a Camaro wouldn't be as much of a sleeper as my stock appearing family truckster.
