    Change Coolant 3.8V6

I change the Coolant from my 3.8V6 Camaro (2001) every 2 years, with new GM Dexcool.
The only problem is, i can't getting it all out, still a few liters left everytime.
Is there some plug on the underside of the engine, where i can drain the rest of it ?
do some one have a picture of this drain ?

There should be a set of block drains on each side of the engine. Can't tell you where they are on a V6, but they should be fairly obvious.

@ the base of cylinder 3 and 4 there is a drain casting with a set screw or jam nut in the ends of both.

I would also set a level parallel on top of the upper intake and jack the rear of the car (safely) until the engine is level.

There's a slight back angle to the drive line, leveling the engine will help in getting the most old coolant out of the rear water jackets of the engine.

Without a full flush it will be impossible to drain all the old coolant from the various water jacketed engine componets nor the block.

Are they difficult to access ?

If i want to work under the car, i bought last year some Race Ramps for the front and the back.
So the car is exactly level.

    Nice setup!

To the other, mostly it's just a tight area to work in.

Doable but the manifolds are right over them.
