    97N/A 3.8 swap to 94S/C 3.8

I happen to cruise a 97 firebird 3800 series V6 for my DD, the question I have is, I have the option to buy a 1994 3.8 out of a bonneville that is S/Cd for $400. How hard would it be to swap the S/C on my car and what else would need to be done. I realize the bolting it on part would be easy etc. but I'm more less concerned with the PCM tuning etc. Would it be worth my while? thanks

You can find more info about this, but here is a quick list.

have to switch over motor mounts, exhaust manis, accessory setup.
have to clearnace the firewall for the sc inlet
have to buy a aussie tb eblow that turns the sc outlet towards the front of the engine bay
    have to relocate the coils
have to find solution for the upper coolant hose/elbow
    redo vacum setup

Their is really at lot of work to it. I would definetly look into the swap more on the v6 sites.....fullthrottlev6.com, v6f-body.net, camarov6.com

Well I actually want to keep my engine and JUST swap the supercharger over on to my car , I can see all the other things but why would I have to change the motor mounts and exhaust?

well you would'nt if you just swap the heads, lower intake, and s/c over to you block. I was going on the fact of you swapping the whole motor over. in which case the fwd motor mounts, and exhaust would'nt work.
