the lights in the rear bumper are foglights, when it is very misty, you have to put them on, so you don't get hit from behind by another car.
all car's in Europe must have foglights.

It's a great car, i like the 3800 II series engines, they are fast enough (for me), reliable and the miles/gallon is also good.

    Only mods are:
    - Replaced the front and rear shocks, with adjustable Koni's.
    - Replaced the fornt and rear swaybars, with new SS-ones (32 and 19mm) with SS endlinks and bushings.
    - Replaced the orginal tires (215/60/R16) with Cooper Zeon 2XS (245/50/ZR16) tires.
    - Removed the speedlimiter with a dynotech 32002.
    - Replaced my "European" folding mirrors, with the "American" mirrors.
    - Replaced the shift knob, with the SLP shift knob.
    - Replaced the front and rear stock brake pads with EBC red stuff ceramic pads.

your front seats are also not Camaro seats they are TransAm seats since they have lumbar support, unless it was a European option which i highly doubt since they are not chevy seats.

This is'nt the first time iirc I've seen these seats in a Camaro optioned for Europe.

That's also where pv-camaro is from.. Pretty sure Euro cars have to have adjustable head rests..

Does'nt matter whether it's a chevy or not..

Euro Camaro's also have rear facing fog lamps in the back bumper that their American counter parts do not..

Also notice the extra marker/turn signals in the fender ahead of the doors.. ALSO a euro feature.

Bought the car 2 years ago as a wreck... been putting things back together little by little, and modifying as I go. This winters goals are to get the new wheels on and get the paint and bodywork completed.

Well I might as well update this thread with my new acquisition. 87 Fiero GT, and a L67 that will eventually go into it after I'm done with my Z28.

Fiero is mostly original 218K GT auto and still going pretty good. Doing my homework on the L67 and swaps into the Fiero for now and hopefully by this time next year I'll get to swapping. Going to go with the OD trans that the motor was attached to (97 Riviera) and hopefully about 325-350 to the wheels in a 2600 lb RWD platform for a super fun driver.

Nice! You have your work cut out for you with that swap.

I've followed a few of the 3800/Fiero swaps in the past.

Next thing you know their @ the track shocking the v8 guys..

Yes I've noticed the times posted on the forums with the mod lists. Surprising how quick they run with those 3800's. If I wasn't already committed with my Z28 I definately would have picked up on this earlier!

Swap shouldn't be that tough, fortunately for me this is a popular swap so not only are there mount kits but wiring kits out there as well and tons of build threads to follow. I'll decide more as I get closer I "can" do the wiring and fabbing but don't know if I want to. I might just buy the kits and just handle the muscle involved. Alot is going to depend on what I eventually have to do to the 3800 to handle those power levels. Parts for these suckers aren't that cheap, and still looking into the best route. I don't want 5K invested in the motor alone if I absolutely don't have to, I but want to be as stone reliable as it is quick. Able to cross country hit the track and drive it back home type of build.
