Whisper sells a 3.8 lid and ram air/CAI. Had a HPP3 long time ago but only used it for gears/shift points/firmness/fans - never installed the tune.

I wanna say for $350 get the pulley done. $210 or so parts, $100 labor. 8rhwp gain, 2mpg savings in gas. in 6-8 months it will pay for itself.

for 350 you could get a set of 3.73s and an install kit from summit, that will probably be your biggest gain in power you can feel. i dont think it will make anymore horse power, but you will deffinatly feel the gain in acceleration. your highway MPG will decrease a little and your city MPG will increase a little.

Are you talking about an underdrive pulley? They give MPG gains too?

I've never seen any improvement from an underdrive pulley. A couple buddies have them on there F-bodies and I couldn't feel a difference from before and after.
I'm gonna follow Sarge and say Dyno tune.

yes, because it takes less power to rotate the newer pulley, shorter belts too because the new pulley is bigger in diamater, less belt slippage because new belts, the hp goes up and less gas is needed to run the accessories. I dynoed before and after the pulley and gained 8rwhp.

is it an auto? if so get a stall converter, no hp gain but will make the most difference in 1/4 for the price

3.73s are gears for your rear end, you probably have the poopy factory 3.08s or 3.23s, the install kit is just everything you need to put them in. if you dont have a decent amount of mechanical knowledge i wouldnt reccomend you put them in your self, the mesh has to be perfect or they will whine like a hound dog in heat and burn up if they are too loose, if there too tight they will burn up before you get out of your drive way. plan on spendin about 250 for an install, but its worth it
