Z28 vs. SS springs, 4th Gen

The front right of my '98 Z28 is sagging a little bit (1/4 to 1/2") and I'm guessing the spring has gone soft over the years.
I have a line on some springs that were removed from a '00 SS back when it was new. Are those the same springs as found on the Z28?

    Thanks

Nope,,,,the spring rates are different according to my crash book.
But they'll physically bolt in if thats what you are referring to.

I pretty well knew they would fit. More curious about spring rate and ride height.
Thanks for the info. I kinda like the idea of a firmer ride; assuming the SS spring is stiffer.

    Here's an FYI.
in essence the basic SS suspension, save for a larger front swaybar, was EXACTLY the same as the Z/28.

Now, LOTS of SS's had the SLP optional springs and Bilstein or Koni shocks, those springs did make the car sit a bit lower and they were a bit stiffer than the standard springs.

Here you go, from a sticky thread right above your thread.

If the SS/FireHawk owner/dealer decided they wanted to upgrade the springs, they either went for the SLP level 1 or level 2 upgrade, looks like they(SLP) had two different spring rates, level 1 was for the Bilstein's and level 2 was for the Koni's.

    EDIT:
At least I THINK Level 1 was for the Bilstein's and Level 2 was for the Koni's.
