I can see someone using the 1" spring spacers if their lowering spring lower the rear too much, or they have heavy stereo equiptment in the back.
But 2", and 3" spacers ????

My friend has 1.5" lifter on his '98 SS because his sidepipes used to always bottom out...doesn't look too bad.

I think it's an 80's thing. I used to run air shocks on my first Chevelle. We all jacked up our cars back then. It's just what you did...

Haha. My 65 Mustang used to have air shocks on it but they were so dry rotted by the time you got to the end of the driveway you were sitting flat again. But Im pretty sure anyone who is a pro street class racer is going to have a much better suspension than to use a spacer.
