Whats best for my ride?
Just like it says, Whats the best shocks and springs for my ride.... let me tell you about it..
00 TA WS6, doesn't see the track much, but it will get there once or twice a year.. mostly a bad ass street machine. LS3 pounding 525RWHP. Mostly DD to work which is a 100 mile round trip on the highway.. However this thing see's lots of back roads. I have no interest at all in lowering it. I'm looking for a smooth ride, and something that i can adjust for use on the track.. If you need more info just ask..
Thanks

Koni dampers, your WS6 springs, our Panhard bar and lower control arms combined with three point subframe connectors and you'd be golden. Our PHB and LCA's would be polyurethane.
After installing the above, if the body roll didn't suit, you could upgrade to our 35/22 bars. It makes a bit less difference on the WS6 car than a base model, however.
Good luck!

You guys actually just shipped my 3 point SFC's today.
Thanks for the reply. I like the sound of it. I'm also thinking tunnel brace with torque arm relocate and DS-loop.
Do you offer a discount to ls1 members?

When I bought the car, it had Eibach Sportlines and bilstein shocks...the ride was absolutely terrible. You felt every bump in the road and it was too low for me. I later ended up switching out the sportlines and put in BMR springs. The ride was quite a bit better, and my car was raised up a tiny bit. However, with both springs my cornering ability is just terrible lol. Just my experience friend. I do like how it rides now though minus the cornering.

Awesome, thanks for the SFC purchase.
Tunnel brace torque arms = launching happiness.

Sounds good Ramey, I'm sure over the next year or two I'll be chipping away at the f-body section of the catalog.

I'm not sure man, when I got the car it had the terrible setup of sportlines and bilstein shocks. the person who owned the car before me made some terrible modding choices. I have heard that the stock suspension is a great setup though; did you get yours stock?

I have Koni 4/4's on all corners, Sam Strano's springs, LCA's, PHB, torque arm, and 2 pt SFC's and my car hugs the road like it's on rails. Koni shocks are by far the best. None compare. Sam's springs are the best too and when coupled with those shocks they work really well. They only lower the car 1.2". It's not a slammed look at all. The Koni 4/4's are also adjustable on the car. It literally takes no time at all to change the settings for different ride conditions.
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

Call Sam and ask him how the Koni's are with OEM springs. Unless Ramey knows. I don't off-hand.

so i got my SFC's on the car, but i have a clunking coming from the passenger side and i'm sure its from the area where it meets the lower control arm.... problem is i can't fit my torque wrench in there to tighten it. so i did it with two wrenches.. same way they came out. is it possible to over tighten and bind everything up?

are you tighten the bolts with the suspension loaded? meaning the car is not on jacks?
