What suspension works the best
I would like to lower my 2002 SS camaro it is a slp with the bilsteen shocks.
Will be puting some 18" on it and dont want it to be to low but to look clean. I have heard like a 1 3/8 or something like that. What do you guys suggest ? and what brand. Thanks

Eibach has two options, their Sportline, and ummm whatever the other one is..I can't remember right now. I went with the Sportline. You can see in my avatar what you car will look like. If you are ever going to consider long tubes, reconsider lowering your car this much as I have a grand total of about 1" of clearance at the cat. I have the entire SLP header and 3" catted Y-pipe on back system though. Lots of careful driving and the occasional scrappy scrappy followed by "oh sh*t"! Great sound, and performance though!

Get lower control arm relocation brackets as well while you are at it or what little traction you had will be gone. I had Intrax 1.5's and loved the look but that low didn't like 17x11 and 315 tires or true dual exhaust so they had to go.

the Eiback Pro-Kit is working fine for me...where I live there's alot of speed bumps and odd angles and I barely scrape (I still do but less)... and the car still sits descently off the ground...the JACK I have doesn't fit under it...so it's pretty low...
1.4inch drop... compared to the sportlines near 2inch drop... so it retains drivability...and the 18 inch rims would help out too (i'm still running stock wheels and tires)

If your SS has the Billstien option you already have Eibach Progressive rate springs.

What he ment by traction probley meaning pushing the front end in hight speed cornering. (due to the relocating the control arm)
I do have the bilsteen SS equipment But I am going to put a set of 18" and would like to make the wheel fit and look good in the wheel well
Would some one be able to post some web pages or numbers so I can further my suspension research ? Thanks
O amd the car has 80 K so I will be replacing the original shocks as well would like to stay in the 400 dollar range for shocks. As well as 250 for springs so would I be better trying to go coil over ...?
