What Brand LCA? Spohn or UMI?
Ok So I am going to purchase Chromoly LCA`s for my 02 TA, I am just stuck on the brand to use. I was originally looking at UMI Tubular Adjustable Lower control arms with the poly bushings on one end and the QA1 rod ends on the other or the Spohn Tubular Adjustable with the QA1 on one end and poly on the other. This car is a daily driver so I do not need it to be to loud and annoying thats why I am opting for the poly on one end. Now I know UMI is great but I also hear Great Things about Spohn like Steve is a master welder and his welds on all his suspension gear are perfect. So help me decide what do you all think?

I have the Spohn chrome-moly fully adjustable everything and have had no problems for the last 3 years I've been running it. With that said UMI is good stuff too.

The TA was a little noisy but I installed rod end dust caps on all the joints and that helped. Still with rod end you are going to get more noise, but its hard to hear over my exhuast.

I recommend/sell/use UMI.... Most all their stuff in on my website. I know them, I trust them, and we work closely together (helped by the fact we are only about 40 miles away from each other).
The truth is most of these things are not rocket science, and you are buying quality of welding, powdercoating, etc. I put UMI up there against anyone, and the fact you get that quality for a good price is icing on the cake.Sam Strano
