Hi,
I replaced my rear lower control bushings with poly. Made a nice difference too. I would of bought a aftermarket LCA's if I lived in the US, but the price of shipping / tax's make them quiet expensive once shipped to the UK.
I too am somewhat mechanically inclined , but it's not really a big deal, I used a vice to push/cut/hammer the old ones out and put the new bushings in.
Undo both bolts, take the arm off, remove bushings, replace with new bushing, bolt them back on. More muscle than brain.
They are surprisingly flexable due to their shape (u cross section), so are defo worth upgrading the whole arm IMHO.
I still got the front control arms to do, but I'm being lazy . lol
Edit: I just read that Sam Strano says front control arm poly bushing are hugely not recomended.
Hope that helps,
Paul.Last edited by UKRAMAIR; 05-22-2009 at 02:12 PM.
