Torque Arm
At some point I'd like to upgrade my rear to either a 12 bolt or 9". I've been looking at some torque arms for those new rear ends and it seems a lot have a disclaimer about the 12 bolt. Is there an aftermarket torque arm that will work with a 12 bolt?

They will all work with a 12 bolt I believe, but the problem is, instead of 2 long bolts going through the rearend and torque arm, you have 4 short bolts that bolt to the top and bottom of the 12 bolt. They are prone to breaking due to the 4 bolt design.

So is that the case for all 12 bolt torque arms? If that's the case I think I'll be looking at a 9inch instead.

That's only for the Moser 12 bolt. Strange 12 bolt uses two longer bolts.

Are most people running w/ Strange 12 bolts then? I think it'll be a Strange for me then when I decide to get one.

If you want a 12 bolt I'd definately go Strange. Moser 9 inch rear is awesome as well tho. Moser 9 inch uses the regular two bolt torque arm mount. Originally Posted by Johns00Z28
