    Cool Tokico HP

I checked the search on Tokico shocks and didn't find much help. Can anybody give me info on the Tokico HP shocks? The local speed shop says the valving is perfect for these cars. I am installing Hotchkis Springs, Edelbrock adjustable panhard bar, and control arms. They are pushing the Tokico shocks or Koni (I can't afford the Koni's or I would go that way). I tried to find info on Tokico's website but again no help?

Anybody running them that have feedback (positive or negative)?

They aren't terrible, I sell a few sets here and there. I can't really agree the valving is "perfect for these cars". After all damping needs and wants vary, which is why I tend to use adjustable shocks, and the Tokico's aren't really the most heavily damped thing for use with lowering springs.

I don't think you'd hate it at all, and you might well like it and come on the forums and rave. But it's important to remember that everything is relative and relative to stock shocks I think a damper off a screen door might be an improvement at times.

Normally I'd recommend you a set of AGX's so you can at least play with the damping levels and they aren't much more money. I sell Tokico's @ $345, AGX's, @ $409 a set.
