Sway bar back only is that ok

I bought a rear sway bar for my 2000 TA Suspension Technic my buddy had that and he wasn't using it never installed, but he didn't have the front.

Is it ok to change the rear sway bar but not the front I hear on our cars that the front is fine but that the back is a little weak Is that right ?

The front and rear sway bar work together.

You are not going to see the full benefit by just adding a rear sway bar.

I got it for 80 bucks for the back new so wkith the front it will give me a kit at a good deal I think summit has the matching front for $167 free shipping so I might order it sometime this summer I'll try the back 1st
