Sway Bar
Hey,
I was told that since i have T-Tops, that if i dog my camaro too much that they will get out of wack, if i dont have some type of sway bars. Does anyone have any suggestions on some that i can pick up. I know of some that go under the hood that goes across the top of the engine. Thats pretty much it. Thanks
Sarge

The bar that goes across the engine bay is called a strut tower brace. Sway bars are located in the rear of the vehicle, behind and running parallel to the rear axle (it's the one with the bend in the middle of it to run around the rear axle housing. And the front one looks similar but obviously is in the front of the vehicle. You will also need sub-frame connectors, which run underneath the vehicle down the sides under the doors. They connect the front sub frame to the rear sub frame. You should also look into a panhard bar, which is the bar that's on an angle that is connected at the rear axle and at the frame. All this will strengthen your vehicle and give you the rigidity that you desire. I use www.ws6store.com for all my suspension shopping needs!

Swaybars control body roll. They were likely talking about SFC's (subframe connectors), and maybe a STB (shock tower brace).
None of those are bad things to have, and SFC's and the STB can stiffen the structure of the car, but it's a complete falsehood that the car will do something like fall apart without such things, it's just not true. Hell, my car doesn't have SFC's on it and it gets "dogged" pretty regularly.
I use stranoparts.com for all my suspension needs... I'm a site sponsor, and I've got a pretty good track record for making these suspensions work.Sam Strano

I can certainly help you out there. We make a few of our own parts like swaybars and springs, and sell a whole laundry list of things from other companies too. Shocks, springs, bars, STB's, SFC's, LCA's, Torque arms, brakes and on and on.

I just surfed your website for a few minutes, impressive pricing. I did some comparing and you are either same price or lower than the competition. I think my next suspension shopping spree will be with you! Hello K-member, torque arm, LCA, panhard relocation arm, A arms....... and goodbye wallet!
