    Suspension Upgrade

Well, looking to get some lowering springs. I have a 98 M6 Z28. I do have Pacesetter long tube headers..if that makes a difference for clearence. I don't necessary want to drop it too much..but a little bit is fine. What do you guys suggest? I have heard a lot of good about Eibach..but which set?

It's not quite that simple if you want to do it right....

You could put a set of springs on that's it. But shocks are spring dampers, and more spring rate and less shock travel demands more from the shock. And fwiw, the stock shocks are very poor for even the stock springs, let alone lowering springs.

Pacesetters hang a bit on the low side, and you could well have an issue with any lowering springs, but Eibach Pro-kits for the LS1 tend to sit a bit lower than they should from time to time. There are other options, including the LT1 setup (and yes, they fit just fine on an LS1 car), and Hotchkis as well. We also have springs made that I designed to fix all the things I don't love about the others, but we are currently out of stock--though more are coming.

No matter what a car on lowering springs ideally will also have appropriate shock damping and an adjustable PHB added as well to control the spring rate and center the body/axle alignment that changes from lowering.

Do you have a certain set up or package that you recommend? I am open to anything at this point. I would like to do it right, even if it means spending the extra money.

If you want to give me a call on Monday I'd be happy to talk with you about the options and parts that work well together.
