Suspension Middle Ground
I plan on upgrading my suspension in the near future and I wanted to be in the middle ground...I want it to have excellent cornering, but still be able to drag race the random Rice Burner when I need it to.
Here is what I was looking at getting:
Weld On Subframe Connectors
Shock Tower Brace
Tunnel Brace
Eibach Pro Kit
Bilstein HD Front and Rear Shocks
LCAs w/ Relocation Brackets
Front and Rear Sway Bars
Adjustable Panhard Bar
Panhard Reloaction Bar (for True Duals)
Adjustable Torque Arm
6-Point Roll Cage
Is this a good start? Anything you guys would change/add/remove from this list?
I plan on getting a Tubular K-Member and Control Arms when I do the engine work this Spring/Summer.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
do you really need the SFC's/swaybars if you're putting a roll cage in?

can i ask why u want/need a 6 point cage? just for your sake? to comfort you? cause if you drag race i think anything running faster then an 11.5 needs a cage.
and i would deff go with the SFC's

I always thought a roll cage added stiffness to the car...are SFCs enough for this?

triple-black- 2000 CamaroSS convertible
i would can the STB (save your money for useful items)
LCA... keep stock ones.. they are great... especially if you want good compromise.
If you get polyurethan ones, forget handling, since you gonne get bind, causing to effectively increase your spring rate and make your rear end WAY tail happy when under load.
Strongly recommend against the PHR relocation... will change the dynamics of te car drastically... and if you care about cornering, far from the best item to touch.
Springs and shocks look great.
Swaybars, I'd keep the stock rear one and put a biger front sway bar (35/36mm)
Keep stock LCA/PHR for now.
forget STB (useless structurally and handling-wise... great for leaning over when working in engine bay, though)
get SFC and rollcage for increased body stiffness + safety... (but does not change handling characteristics)
As for the TA, I'd make sure I wouldn't go w/ a short TA, since you'll be hindering braking and provoquing wheel hop under braking consitions (not what you want for safety, racing conditions) unless you only care about drag-racing.
There is a thread on TA and what it does among the top threads.Eugenio_SS
