I like Spohn. Everyone I know uses Spohn as well. After that I like BMR. I have bought only one UMI piece (torque arm relocation bracket) and it didn't fit right at all. Ryan from UMI would chime into any thread on LS1 Tech where I'd give my negative opinion on this piece and say it was my faulght it didn't fit then the mods would edit my post.

I am sorry to hear that. I have had no issue with UMI. It just sucks that you had a bad experience with them.

I had to modify it with a dremel to get it to fit. Turns out I hate the thing, makes almost as much noise as my old tunnel mounted torque arm, Now I can't sell it cause it's all beat to shit. Nice $300 paper weight.

what part was it? How bad did you mess it up you have pictures? I am really shocked that they treated you like that.

No pics. It was the torque arm relocation crossmember. (said that once already^^) It's not that messed up actually, just I had to enlarge the mounting holes. Anyone interested?

Guys all this thread has shown is how many people are buying UMI parts and how many are buying BMR... have you actually compared the products g's they look identicle... really neither is better then the other you can't get two companies that are more similar.

I say buy which ever one is selling the part in quetion for cheaper and call it a day... Regardless you're getting a strong quality peice that most of us will never get anywhere near pushing to the extent of breaking so it really doesn't matter lol.

stay away from BMR, unless you want failing parts.
They are good ONLY for drag.
If you consider cornering, you're better off staying with stock parts.

    go w/ UMI.
