Subframe connector question
Currently i bought my car with full bolt ons its at about 370 to the wheels and the car doenst have subframe conectors on it ... I plan on using 3 point subframe connectors (bolt ins) I kno know its a over kill for my kinda power but i plan on goin over 500hp for this car..but my question is I already see signs of the car twisting im not sayin my car is way off but after i install teh subframes its not goin 2 twist my car back to exactly the way its supposed 2 aline anyone have any input on this or been in the same spot? I ahvent had any prolems with t tops or anything but i kidna see it in my hood how its a little off one side compared to teh other and the nostrols on the hood ahve hit my bumper before..Any infor if really appreciate it thanks guys!
Also anyone have any reviews on three point subframe connecotrs what vendors are u guys getting these from I was lookin at a few sets on fasttoys!Last edited by 02blckws6; 10-07-2010 at 08:31 AM.

I used 1ft pieces of a cross tie on all 4 wheels. Worked perfect for me.

Whatever you do, avoid concrete blocks as they are not safe to support a car with. You can put ramps under the front wheels and jackstands under the back axle. The only caveat is that to install the bolt through the rear bracket on the SFC, you need to remove the suspension bolt from the lower control arm. With the bolt removed the car can shift around as the torque arm can slide in its mount. Therefore, only unbolt one side at a time.

Haha I dug a hole with my mom's backhoe and drove my car over it. Then I crawled under there only to find out I got too happy with that thing I couldn't reach.

Yeah just put some dirt back in it and tried again. It works, keeps the suspension loaded and I was all stupid making sure the ground was lvl with a bubble level and a 2x4
