    Sub Frames

I was looking at a set of tubular subframe connectors (weld in) (UMI or Spohn) and was wondering if it was alright to weld them in with the car on a two post lift or does the full weight of the car have to be on the wheels when I weld them in?

+1 I agree, or us the lift to get it in the air and use big jack stands under the rear and control arms.

you'd be suprised how much a car flexes with its weight off the wheels and on the jack points.
this is where a pit can be your best friend

I've read where people had sfc's put in with a car unloaded and then had problems with their doors closing......make sure the suspension is loaded.

Were going to put it up on the lift and set the car down on some post jacks under each wheel and weld em up.

    Thanks guys.
