(I’ve spent a lot of time investigating that one…no one has reported failure with both-ons; unless a brainless child did the install.) What’s the ‘ULTIMATE’ way to go? I’d have to agree with weld-ons (IF-done-properly). I’ve been in the non-automotive mechanical field for 30ish years and yes the weld-ons make logical sense. Is it absolutely necessary to weld? Probably not...
Even if it's a "probably not" why take the chance? Get the weld-ins and get done with it. Bolt ins MIGHT not fail, they MIGHT be the same. But why not just get the welds and call it a day?

That way you don't have to worry about the .... MIGHT

It is a known fact that SLP is way over priced. Their HP rating is from the flywheel and not RWHP.

I have their lid and bellows which works very well but once again, very pricey. I encourage people with the same vehicle as mine, it's a worthy purchase; but pricey.

I'm not out to bust anyone's ass on LS1.com. My WS6 is my hobby, something to do during my "mid life crisis". I'm building a WS6 and learning as I go. I'm obtaining knowledge from others and sharing when I can. (Let someone else do the R&D).

Thus far I've found the following upgrades impeccable:
Kooks SS long tube headers (W/EGR-AIR)
    Kooks SS ORY-pipe
    Magnaflow SS quad tip C-back
    Magnecor 8.5mm plug wires
    Denso Iridium Plugs
    SLP lid
    SLP smooth bellows
Blackwing filter (you can probably find cheaper)

As previously stated, I cannot comment on the UNI bolt-on SFC's, but their installed.

I've heard of the SLP lid rubbing on the hood. Looks like yours might be? Mine hasn't yet.

Yea true that, pain in the ass to keep it clean...I need to go back and put my cowl hood on, but I will never get rid of the lid tell i put forced induction on the motor in the fall. So, o well rub away I guess tell I switch hoods out. The stock hood is my winter hood, so if it gets scratched when I take her out O WELL, its stock... What Mods do you have done? Do you have an Fquick?

Has anyone, or does anyone know anyone who's ran the Thunder Racing 'Reverse Split' 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA bumpstick? It's an upgrade without mods to the heads.

Interesting. Anticipated RWHP was higher than that without ported heads. (See the dyno @ TR). Was that an F-body and approx. what year?

Other than the Moser 9 & gears, porting on the heads, and the cam, did he have any other mods done to his car?
