In general, how long do the front stuts last?

Depends on the roads where you live for one. I'd say a general consensus is 75k-100k.

And also depends if the OP's car is lowered.

i have 130K on mine and nothing really wrong with them and I drive it hard, I do plan on replacing mine this summer when i finally finish getting the suspension pieces and lower it a little for new rims and tires.

    K, sounds good. I've got 65K

    Not lowered. Yet.

I was just asking as I'm planning more suspension mods.

Mine has 112k I believe, it could probably use some Bilsteins or Konis.

To the OP, you can destroy a strut is seconds by hitting a serious pot hole.
OR,, you could get many years out of them..

Due to the wide range of various types of surfaces in any given place.
The various manufacturers of dampers give you an expected mileage and service date on their shock absorbers.

Beyond the scope of that, it's likely going to depend on your own driving habbits. IMHO

Mine came with the decarbons. There was an option from SLP to upgrade to their suspension package, but for what the extra cost was from GM, not worth it if ya know what I mean.

The slp upgrade was bilsteins, but with a bit of a markup.
