    Strano Springs: Update

I know there are some folks on here who have been waiting for a shipment of springs to arrive.

Just wanted to let you all know that I got a call from the trucking company and they are to be here early next week. I'll do my best to get them out the door just as fast I can--oldest orders first.

Thanks for the bandwidth, back to normal programming.

You should have also gotten the shipping information from FedEx by now as well.

Please let me know what you think compared to whatever you have now. Always value input.

Sam do you have any springs that will give the ride height of sportlines but not a progressive spring so theyre so soft?

The issue with Sportlines isn't progression, in fact they are linear working rate springs. They are not nearly stiff enough for the height, and are also too low (even regardless of the spring rate).

There just flatly isn't enough travel, and a severe lack of rate to counter the weight given the extremely small amount of service travel you have.

I'd never lower a car that far... it's a looks only thing.

I had the Sportlines on my 01 SS M6 Camaro and would never lower it that much again. It handled worse and would scrape the bottom pretty much everywhere, not to mention i thinked they ruined my shocks. I do admit it does look good being that low but not worth it to me.
