Strano Spring users in here...plz
I got my Strano springs and konis installed and love them. Only thing I wouldnt mind changing is the ride height of the front. Wondering if anyone else has done anything to lower front a little. I was wondering if its possible to cut part of the rubber isolator (top of spring) to lower ride height. What about lower control arms ?
cutting spring is not an option

The rront shocks have a dual groove (for the C clip) for a spring perch change, this changes the ride height. They should have came out of the box on the top groove. it's NOT reccomended to use Strano Springs (or any spring for that matter) on the lower perch setting because you can damage the shock.

I have the 4/3 konis from strano. I didnt touch the original perch settings on the shocks. In the front my car (floor to fender) sits 27" high, slightly less in back

You can use the lower perch on the front shocks. You need to remove the spring from the shock, and change the perch location. Should drop the front a little extra for you.

Should be pretty easy once the spring is removed from the shock.
The perch location is basicly just a groove in the shock. There are two, only can see one because the perch is in the other one.
I have been tempted to actually sell the Strano springs, use the lower perch on the Koni's up front, and do the heater hose mod to the rear. Still drop the car a little for style and probably hook up a bit better at the track.

do you feel a difference in ride since you changed it? I'm about to get this setup, just waiting on stock to come in.
Any pics?

I was told by Sam that its not recommended to use the lower perch as it can cause the shock to bottom out....... Have you had any issues with this?
