SS suspension sucks
Is it just my car or does everyone ss and ws6 suspension feel sloppy, body roll, brake dive, acceleration lurch, Im asking this cause my 91Z28 handled like a dream compared to my SS.

Light Pewter Metallic- 2000 Camaro SS M6
IMHO, if your 1991 Z28 handled much better than your 2002 SS, then something must be wrong with your SS suspension. From my experience, 4th gens handle much better than 3rd gens.

Well it's not too bad, but yeah it could use some work.

You know what this means? TIME FOR SUSPENSION MODS!!!!!! I have a '00 non-WS6 TA and I hated the way it drove, it's a daily driver so I wanted a nicer ride quality. I've since added SFC, LCA, PHR, a 1LE 32 mm FSB, and Bilstein HD shocks all the way around and it's MUCH improved now. Obviously the shocks made the biggest diff., stockers are crap.

my 02 only feels safe in a strait line, anything else is just scary. I used to race my buddy's 98 trans am in my 91 z on the back roads and he always had trouble keepin up.

SS and WS6, even Firehawk suspensions still have so much factory stamped pieces under there it's amazing what a car will do with aftermarket parts. Full BMR Here and love it over the stock handling option

Sunset Orange Metallic- 2001 Camaro SS
Bilsteins, LCA's, SFC and a Torque arm and that SS will handle with any C5. I know I have both a C5 and an 01' SS and the SS will take on the C5 (with the above mentioned mods) anytime. My SS is faster also!!!!

With those mods, you could easily handle a stock C5.
