    SS self lowered

My '02 SS seems to have lowered itself. No, not just one side, but the front for sure and I think all the way around. Looks good, but the front tires rub on the inner fender(front) when I turn hard left or right.

Is it shocks, springs or what. Still have extended warrenty on it(and we all know what a waste of money that was), but dealer will want $$$$ just to evaluate.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

i would think that it would have to be the coil springs in the back and struts up front going bad. how many miles are on them?

46,000 miles, and it really happened in a short period of time, not saying overnight, but damn close to it. No wrecks, or damage. I did race, but not in the last year.

Nothing carries a load but the springs. If your car is dropping in stance it is and can only be the springs. Shocks are gas charged but they do not have enough charge to carry any sort of load.

So far it sounds like springs, my thought also. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I'm really not looking forward to the fight with Chevy with my past experience with extended warrenty.

    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

just buy some new aftermarket springs for $250 instead of dealing with GM.
