Sportlines + 17x9.5's = Trouble?
I plan on upgrading my shocks to KYB Gas-a-Just's all around, swapping the factory springs for Eibach Sportlines, and replacing my factory rims with some Z06 17x9.5's. The tires on my car are virtually the same size as the ones I will be replacing them with (245/50/16 currently vs. 245/40/17 replacements). I'm also installing the BMR handling package which comes with front and rear swaybars (32mm and 21mm respectively), shock tower brace, and sub frame connectors. I wanted to make sure I wouldnt have any issues with the tires rubbing inside the wheel well or anything else after the swap is done. Any thoughts?

no issue at all. are you wanting to go with a shorter diameter tire as well? you'll be losing about 1/2" height if you go with the 245/40-17 tires. you should be going with a 275/40-17 tire to keep the original overall diameter of 25.7" tall.

You shouldnt have problems with rubbing.....seen as how you only have the 9.5s my 17X11s (315s) did not before but now that I have the goodyear gs3s i get a little rubbing. I think you will be fine.
