Do you have to send back the old one...? Or will they cut you a deal if you keep it?

Powder is not invincible. you are supposed to use a washer under the bolt head to avoid this. you can use a metal washer, but i prefer fiber.
2001 M6 SS - few mods...

Im loving all this controversy over whether or not a STB helps, i noticed a huge difference in mine. cornering feels a little better, but the biggest thing is with normal driving, theres way less vibration from the road. theres some train tracks i drive over twice a day, they used to jar the hell of me, but its not nearly as bad now. it helps little things like that, but it makes the ride much more enjoyable

definitely not trying to be sarcastic or sound cocky in any way shape or form, but i am a very good tech, and am quite knowledgeable in assembling and installing parts. i used the washer, and it wasnt even if i applied more than 32lbs of torque, right when i started tightening it down with the supplied hardware, it just tore the coating right off,
slp will be picking up and sending me back a bran new stb. good thing, i had negotiate my way out of paying shipping, lol, they seriously wanted me to ship them the stb, i was all um.... how about no, lol. right me pay another 15 bucks on an already overpriced part,

triple-black- 2000 CamaroSS convertible
wrong... still useless on cornering. stiffening the chassis, especially there does nothing to improve handling... the same way putting a rollbar on your car will not make your car faster in corners... yet, you will feel the difference in stiffness... I'v done tests @ the track w/ and w/o the STB and no diffs whatsoever in the times. I mean track, not strip.
