shock/ spring setup
Hey guys, I'm looking to get new shocks and springs. I want to go with bilstein hd shocks, and I was looking at strano springs. The one thing i saw was people said that the rear gets a bit lower with those springs? has anyone else heard this? I have sfc's right now, but i'd be getting a phb, lca's and a relocation brackets to go with. I dont have the money for konis, and I heard hotchkis was too stiff. I'd also be getting sway bars as well. your thoughts??

It drops all around, they don't "sag" if that is what you mean.

Some pics with my bisltein and strano's. It is a pretty level stance.

How's the ride quality? I heard with eibach pro kits that the ride was somewhat stiff. and do you have the regular bilsteins or the hd

Eibach on stock springs. Rear sags a little. I got bilstein on order.

The eibach's ride ok with my stock set up, its about 1.5 drop and bottoms out the rear on big bumps. But that is on stock shocks.

Anyone have the bilstein/strano setup? How much better is that than bilstein/ eiboch pro setup? I hear the eiboch's have a rough ride to them

It really eliminated that space from the tire to the fender. I want to lower my car but I am still doing research on how low. The roads are bad here, but it is not my daily driver. My aftermarket wheels raised the back quite a bit since it is a staggered setup (i.e. 17 X 9.5's in the front and 18 X 10.5's). I also want to eliminate that gap from the fender to the wheel. I have a pic in my profile where you can see the rear. I also want to replace my shorty headers with longtubes and get rid of the cats as soon as I can find a shop that can pass my emissions and such where it can be legal in VA. That will also decrease the clearance underneath.
