    Shake in Steering Wheel

What could be causing the shimmy in my steering wheel? At about 70-80 on the interstate it seems to smooth out but around 40-60 mph it shakes terrible. I have brand new baer rotors so I know thats not the trouble. Tires are properly inflated. Had a front end alignment about a year ago so im gonna get it done again soon for trial and error considering i have to go over speed bumps on a daily basis. Any of you guys had the same trouble or know of some things to check?

Had the same problem at 50 to 70. Brand new (2000 miles) tires, name brand not junk. Had the front rebalanced and one tire was "not as round" as the other 3. Took 2 and 1/2 oz to balance the one wheel out, problem gone. Rock solid. It I noticed this right away when I got the tires back in Feb, would have taken it back to the dealer.

But, too Life had other plans between then and now to make this an issue.

Also, check your tie-rod ends and ball joints. My TA's tie-rods had split boots so had them replaced last year.

Good luck, post back when you get this worked out.
