    SFC`s/Exhaust clearance?

Just picked up an 01 WS6 recently and plan on doing a few mods for my driving pleasure. I don`t plan on racing, just want to stiffen up the car a little and make it more fun to drive. I want to add UMI 3pt SFC`s and a new cat-back ehaust (SLP Power Flow, Corsa or Borla???). Will I have enough clearance between the 3" Y-pipe and the SFC`s? I know the OEM pipe on the drivers side is flattened for floorpan clearance now. I`m also going to add UMI rear control arms, torque arm, panhard bar and an Edlebrock 3pt strut bar to help out.

The y pipe is before the 3 point UMI sub frame connectors if I recall properly.

So you should be good. Let me look up some pics.

Upper right hand side is the driver side. The Front point connection of the SFC bends so it doesn't interfere with the exhaust. Not too good of a pic, let me see if I can hi-jack one for you.

I was just looking on the UMI site, yes it looks like the Y is forward of the sfc. Thanks for your help, I should have looked closer myself.

    Hello,

Thanks for cosidering the UMI SFC's, you won't be disappointed in the fit or quality!

We haven't found a single exhaust system that won't clear with our 3-Point SFC's, so you shouldn't have any issues at all. These are also 15% off right now as well.

Let me know if I can help anymore. Thanks!
