    Question Rubber Spring Seats (rear)

Can anyone tell me... how tall they are roughly?... Cause I bought some cheap replacement ones...and my car looks like it's sagging in the rear... after I put on the Eibach Springs...

they are maybe half an inch on a good day (the replacement ones)...

To answer your question exactly, the rubber spring isolator or seat is at least 1 1/2 inches thick. But by the time you seat the to of the spring into it, it only accounts for a 3/4 in difference in the height of the car.

I installed Eibach ProKits on it a couple of weeks ago and kept the stock rubber seat/isolator and the rear dropped to the point that the top of the wheel opening on the Qtr. Panel is about 1/2 to 3/4 inches from the top of the tires! I can't imagine what it would have looked like if I did the hose mod.

No, the hose mod actually drops it even more. It consists of taking rubber hose and installing/sliding it onto the top 1 or 2 coils of the OEM spring, then removing the OEM rubber isolator/seat. Some people will do this instead of installing lowering springs, which gives you a 3/4 in drop. Did that make sense?

Before you do that, I would post something on this site asking if anyone has them sitting in their garage. They would be alot cheaper than new ones.

They are in perfect shape. I will see if I can get pics up tomorrow night. It will probably cost around $15 just for shipping to you.
