Custom Slate Blue- 99 B4C
right rear sags -pics-
I've got a B4C, wrecked by the south carolina cops, now my baby. The rear used to only sag a little, not enough to bother me but it sags worse now. I would guess that it's something in the suspension on that side in the rear from the wreck getting worse? what am I looking for? here's some pics of the wreck and of the current sag, any help is appreciated

Looks like the bumper is not on straight. It almost looks like someone stepped on the right corner of it. You can see where it is stressing the center part too. That might be making it look worse than what it is. I'd check your rear wheel well fender hights to see how far off it really is.

always dirty- 2013 Ram 2014 Caddy ATS
i notice the gap on the right side of the hatch is a little wider than the left. was it always like this? maybe there could be some hidden damage in the rear.

the hatch just isn't on striaght, the distance left to right quarter to quarter is dead on and the hatch is bolted in there crooked.
the distance floor to peak of the wheel well opening is about 5/8 less on the pass side than the driver side
the bumper cover is low aboue 1-8, maybe 1/4 of an inch, but as you can tell in the pics the entire ride side is low not just the bumper. The pics were taken dead level on level ground and the whole right rear sags. I have heard of people breaking lower control arms and getting sag? I will get under it today and see if I can find anything to suspect

so, the only thing under there that looks beat up is where the trailing arms bolt up to the chassis, it isn't bad, but it looks as if it could be slightly twisted which could limit mobility? i can't get my bumper cover to go up the rest odf the way, everything back there isn't lined up right either. I've got some friends in a dealer body shop and we're supposed to tear it down get all of my lines straight and then I'm paying their painter to repaint it, but I didn't plan on doing this much. There's no way I'm willing to settle for half-ass work like the person who owned it before me though, so I've got to make sure nothing mechanical is still broken before the body work starts. At this point it looks like I'm going to use this as an excuse to get some good lower control arms and some springs, then we'll put it on their frame machine before we do the body work to make sure it's all good to go. Sound like a good plan?

I havn't tried anything yet. I have removed my front sway bar for better weight transfer and now that it transfers weight harder the right side squats MUCH farther than the left, so it's either the spring or control arm

1 thing worth checking is if the spring isolator is the same way on both sides (ie, all the way in on the top of spring)

Hmmm, I'm not seeing it. On these cars the passenger side is always lower than the drivers side, sit in the car then let someone take measurements.

Check your springs and shocks. Can't remember if mine sagged when stock, but that was a long time ago. Since I upgraded my springs and shocks, car has been dead even. Also, looks like that car was in a pretty bad pursuit accident. Did they tell you exactly what happened, and what kind of damage was taken? Who knows what kind of damage is lurking underneath.
